  36.           Pacific Publishers, Portland, Oregon, 456 pages, indexed,

  40.                "THE UNIVERSE OF MOTION" contains FINAL SOLUTIONS to 
  41.           most ALL astrophysical mysteries. 
  42.           
  43.                This book is Volume III of a revised and enlarged 
  44.           edition of "THE STRUCTURE OF THE PHYSICAL UNIVERSE", 1959.  
  45.           Volume I is "NOTHING BUT MOTION" (1979), and Volume II is 
  46.           "THE BASIC PROPERTIES OF MATTER" (1988). 
  47.           
  48.                Most books and journal articles on the subject of 
  49.           astrophysics are bristling with integrals, partial 
  50.           differentials, and other FANCY MATHEMATICS.  In this book, by 
  51.           contrast, mathematics is conspicuous by its absence, except 
  52.           for some relatively simple formulas imbedded in the text.  
  53.           Larson emphasizes CONCEPTS and declares that mathematical 
  54.           agreement with a theory does NOT guarantee its conceptual 
  55.           validity. 
  56.           
  57.                Dewey B. Larson was a retired engineer with a Bachelor 
  58.           of Science Degree in Engineering Science from Oregon State 
  59.           University.  He developed the Theory described in his books 
  60.           while trying to find a way to MATHEMATICALLY CALCULATE the 
  61.           properties of chemical compounds based ONLY on the elements 
  62.           they contain. 
  63.           
  64.                "THE UNIVERSE OF MOTION" describes the astrophysical 
  65.           portions of Larson's CONSISTENT, INTEGRATED, COMPREHENSIVE, 
  66.           GENERAL UNIFIED Theory of the physical universe, a kind of 
  67.           "grand unified field theory" that orthodox physicists and 
  68.           astro-physicists CLAIM to be looking for.  It is built on two 
  69.           postulates about the physical and mathematical nature of 
  70.           space and time: 
  71.           
  72.                (1) The physical universe is composed ENTIRELY of ONE 
  73.           component, MOTION, existing in THREE dimensions, in DISCRETE 
  74.           units, and with two RECIPROCAL aspects, SPACE and TIME. 
  75.           
  76.                (2) The physical universe conforms to the relations of 
  77.           ORDINARY COMMUTATIVE mathematics, its primary magnitudes are 
  78.           ABSOLUTE, and its geometry is EUCLIDEAN. 
  79.           
  80.                From these two postulates, Larson was able to build a 
  81.           COMPLETE theoretical universe, from photons and subatomic 
  82.           particles to the giant elliptical galaxies, by combining the 
  83.           concept of INWARD AND OUTWARD SCALAR MOTIONS with 
  84.           translational, vibrational, rotational, and rotational-
  85.           vibrational motions.  At each step in the development, he was 
  86.           able to match parts of his theoretical universe with 
  87.           corresponding parts in the real physical universe, including 
  88.           EVEN THINGS NOT YET DISCOVERED.  For example, in his 1959 
  89.           book, he first predicted the existence of EXPLODING GALAXIES, 
  90.           several years BEFORE astronomers started finding them.  They 
  91.           are a NECESSARY CONSEQUENCE of his comprehensive Theory.  And 
  92.           when quasars were discovered, he had a related explanation 
  93.           ready for those also. 
  94.           
  95.                As a result of his theory, which he called "THE 
  96.           RECIPROCAL SYSTEM", Larson TOTALLY REJECTED many of the 
  97.           sacred doctrines of orthodox physicists and astrophysicists, 
  98.           including black holes, neutron stars, degenerate matter, 
  99.           quantum wave mechanics (as applied to atomic structure), 
  100.           "nuclear" physics, general relativity, relativistic mass 
  101.           increases, relativistic Doppler shifts, nuclear fusion in 
  102.           stars, and the big bang, all of which he considered to be 
  103.           nothing more than MATHEMATICAL FANTASIES.  He was very 
  104.           critical of the AD HOC assumptions, uncertainty principles, 
  105.           solutions in principle, "no other way" declarations, etc., 
  106.           used to maintain them. 
  107.           
  108.                "THE UNIVERSE OF MOTION" is divided into 31 chapters.  
  109.           It begins with a description of how galaxies are built from 
  110.           the gravitational attraction between globular star clusters, 
  111.           which are formed from intergalactic gas and dust clouds that 
  112.           accumulate from the decay products of cosmic rays coming in 
  113.           from the ANTI-MATTER HALF of the physical universe.  (Galaxy 
  114.           formation from the MYTHICAL "big bang" is a big mystery to 
  115.           orthodox astronomers.)  He then goes on to describe life 
  116.           cycles of stars and how binary and multiple star systems and 
  117.           solar systems result from Type I supernova explosions of 
  118.           SINGLE stars. 
  119.           
  120.                Several chapters are devoted to quasars which, according 
  121.           to Larson, are densely-packed clusters of stars that have 
  122.           been ejected from the central bulges of exploding galaxies 
  123.           and are actually traveling FASTER THAN THE SPEED OF LIGHT 
  124.           (although most of that speed is AWAY FROM US IN TIME). 
  125.           
  126.                Astronomers and astrophysicists who run up against 
  127.           observations that contradict their theories would find 
  128.           Larson's explanations quite valuable if considered with an 
  129.           OPEN MIND.  For example, they used to believe that GAMMA RAY 
  130.           BURSTS originated from pulsars, which exist primarily in the 
  131.           plane or central bulge of our galaxy.  But the new gamma ray 
  132.           telescope in earth orbit observed that the bursts come from 
  133.           ALL DIRECTIONS UNIFORMLY and do NOT correspond with any 
  134.           visible objects, (except for a few cases of directional 
  135.           coincidence).  Larson's explanation is that the gamma ray 
  136.           bursts originate from SUPERNOVA EXPLOSIONS in the ANTI-MATTER 
  137.           HALF of the physical universe, which Larson calls the "cosmic 
  138.           sector".  Because the anti-matter universe exists in a 
  139.           RECIPROCAL RELATION to our material universe, with the speed 
  140.           of light as the BOUNDARY between them, and has THREE 
  141.           dimensions of time and ONLY ONE dimension of space, the 
  142.           bursts can pop into our material universe ANYWHERE seemingly 
  143.           at random. 
  144.           
  145.                Larson heavily quotes or paraphrases statements from 
  146.           books, journal articles, and leading physicists and 
  147.           astronomers.  In this book, 351 of them are superscripted 
  148.           with numbers identifying entries in the reference list at the 
  149.           end of the book.  For example, a quote from the book 
  150.           "Astronomy: The Cosmic Journey", by William K. Hartmann, 
  151.           says, "Our hopes of understanding all stars would brighten if 
  152.           we could explain exactly how binary and multiple stars 
  153.           form.... Unfortunately we cannot."  Larson's book contains 
  154.           LOGICAL CONSISTENT EXPLANATIONS of such mysteries that are 
  155.           WORTHY OF SERIOUS CONSIDERATION by ALL physicists, 
  156.           astronomers, and astrophysicists.

  178. The COMET launch has now been pushed back to sometime this coming August. 
  179. Continuing technical problems have made the delay necessary.  Specifically,
  180. I have heard that the rocket cannot put the payload up as high as it was
  181. supposed to.  Also, I've heard that the payload and its support vehicle are
  182. substantially overweight.

  184. At this rate Arnold's new movie, The Last Action Hero will be out on video
  185. long before the Comet booster with his picture on it is launched.  So much
  186. for advertizing time sensitive products on rockets.

  216. to the ISU International Mars Mission Report, current generation

  229.                Orthodox physicists, astronomers, and astrophysicists 
  230.           CLAIM to be looking for a "Unified Field Theory" in which all 
  231.           of the forces of the universe can be explained with a single 
  232.           set of laws or equations.  But they have been systematically 
  233.           IGNORING or SUPPRESSING an excellent one for 30 years!

  235.                The late Physicist Dewey B. Larson's comprehensive 
  236.           GENERAL UNIFIED Theory of the physical universe, which he 
  237.           calls the "Reciprocal System", is built on two fundamental 
  238.           postulates about the physical and mathematical natures of 
  239.           space and time: 
  240.     
  241.                (1) "The physical universe is composed ENTIRELY of ONE 
  242.           component, MOTION, existing in THREE dimensions, in DISCRETE

  258.           MATCH objects in his Theoretical Universe with objects in the 
  259.           REAL physical universe, (photons, sub-atomic particles 
  260.           [INCOMPLETE ATOMS], charges, atoms, molecules, globular star 
  261.           clusters, galaxies, binary star systems, solar systems, white 
  262.           dwarf stars, pulsars, quasars, ETC.), even objects NOT YET 
  263.           DISCOVERED THEN (such as EXPLODING GALAXIES, and GAMMA-RAY 
  264.           BURSTS).

  266.                And applying his Theory to his NEW model of the atom, 
  267.           Larson was able to precisely and accurately CALCULATE inter-
  268.           atomic distances in crystals and molecules, compressibility 
  269.           and thermal expansion of solids, and other properties of 
  270.           matter.

  322.           Physicist Dewey B. Larson's Background
  323.     
  324.                Physicist Dewey B. Larson was a retired Engineer 
  325.           (Chemical or Electrical).  He was about 91 years old when he 
  326.           died in May 1989.  He had a Bachelor of Science Degree in 
  327.           Engineering Science from Oregon State University.  He 
  328.           developed his comprehensive GENERAL UNIFIED Theory of the 
  329.           physical universe while trying to develop a way to COMPUTE 
  330.           chemical properties based only on the elements used. 
  331.     
  332.                Larson's lack of a fancy "PH.D." degree might be one 
  333.           reason that orthodox physicists are ignoring him, but it is 
  334.           NOT A VALID REASON.  Sometimes it takes a relative outsider 
  335.           to CLEARLY SEE THE FOREST THROUGH THE TREES.  At the same 
  336.           time, it is clear from his books that he also knew ORTHODOX 
  337.           physics and astronomy as well as ANY physicist or astronomer, 
  338.           well enough to point out all their CONTRADICTIONS, AD HOC 
  339.           ASSUMPTIONS, PRINCIPLES OF IMPOTENCE, IN-CONSISTENCIES, ETC.. 
  340.      
  341.                Larson did NOT have the funds, etc. to experimentally 
  342.           test his Theory.  And it was NOT necessary for him to do so.  
  343.           He simply compared the various parts of his Theory with OTHER 
  344.           researchers' experimental and observational data.  And in 
  345.           many cases, HIS explanation FIT BETTER. 
  346.     
  347.                A SELF-CONSISTENT Theory is MUCH MORE than the ORTHODOX 
  348.           physicists and astronomers have!  They CLAIM to be looking 
  349.           for a "unified field theory" that works, but have been 
  350.           IGNORING one for over 30 years now! 
  351.     
  352.                "Modern physics" does NOT explain the physical universe 
  353.           so well.  Some parts of some of Larson's books are FULL of 
  354.           quotations of leading orthodox physicists and astronomers who 
  355.           agree.  And remember that "epicycles", "crystal spheres", 
  356.           "geocentricity", "flat earth theory", etc., ALSO once SEEMED 
  357.           to explain it well, but were later proved CONCEPTUALLY WRONG.

  360.                Prof. Frank H. Meyer, Professor Emeritus of UW-Superior, 
  361.           was/is a STRONG PROPONENT of Larson's Theory, and was (or 
  362.           still is) President of Larson's organization, "THE 
  363.           INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY OF UNIFIED SCIENCE", and Editor of 
  364.           their quarterly Journal "RECIPROCITY".  He moved to 
  365.           Minneapolis after retiring.

  369.           "Super Collider" BOONDOGGLE!
  370.           
  371.                I am AGAINST contruction of the "Superconducting Super 
  372.           Collider", in Texas or anywhere else.  It would be a GROSS 
  373.           WASTE of money, and contribute almost NOTHING of "scientific" 
  374.           value. 
  375.     
  376.                Most physicists don't realize it, but, according to the 
  377.           comprehensive GENERAL UNIFIED Theory of the late Physicist 
  378.           Dewey B. Larson, as described in his books, the strange GOOFY 
  379.           particles ("mesons", "hyperons", ALLEGED "quarks", etc.) 
  380.           which they are finding in EXISTING colliders (Fermi Lab, 
  381.           Cern, etc.) are really just ATOMS of ANTI-MATTER, which are 
  382.           CREATED by the high-energy colliding beams, and which quickly 
  383.           disintegrate like cosmic rays because they are incompatible 
  384.           with their environment. 
  385.     
  386.                A larger and more expensive collider will ONLY create a 
  387.           few more elements of anti-matter that the physicists have not 
  388.           seen there before, and the physicists will be EVEN MORE 
  389.           CONFUSED THAN THEY ARE NOW! 
  390.     
  391.                Are a few more types of anti-matter atoms worth the $8.3 
  392.           BILLION cost?!!  Don't we have much more important uses for 
  393.           this WASTED money?! 
  394.     
  395.      
  396.                Another thing to consider is that the primary proposed 
  397.           location in Texas has a serious and growing problem with some 
  398.           kind of "fire ants" eating the insulation off underground 
  399.           cables.  How much POISONING of the ground and ground water 
  400.           with insecticides will be required to keep the ants out of 
  401.           the "Supercollider"?! 
  402.     
  403.           
  404.                Naming the "Super Collider" after Ronald Reagon, as 
  405.           proposed, is TOTALLY ABSURD!  If it is built, it should be 
  406.           named after a leading particle PHYSICIST.

  410.           LARSONIAN Anti-Matter
  411.           
  412.                In Larson's comprehensive GENERAL UNIFIED Theory of the 
  413.           physical universe, anti-matter is NOT a simple case of 
  414.           opposite charges of the same types of particles.  It has more 
  415.           to do with the rates of vibrations and rotations of the 
  416.           photons of which they are made, in relation to the 
  417.           vibrational and rotational equivalents of the speed of light, 
  418.           which Larson calls "Unit Velocity" and the "Natural Datum". 
  419.      
  420.                In Larson's Theory, a positron is actually a particle of 
  421.           MATTER, NOT anti-matter.  When a positron and electron meet, 
  422.           the rotational vibrations (charges) and rotations of their 
  423.           respective photons (of which they are made) neutralize each 
  424.           other. 
  425.       
  426.                In Larson's Theory, the ANTI-MATTER half of the physical 
  427.           universe has THREE dimensions of TIME, and ONLY ONE dimension 
  428.           of space, and exists in a RECIPROCAL RELATIONSHIP to our 
  429.           MATERIAL half. 
  430.

  433.           LARSONIAN Relativity
  434.           
  435.                The perihelion point in the orbit of the planet Mercury 
  436.           has been observed and precisely measured to ADVANCE at the 
  437.           rate of 574 seconds of arc per century.  531 seconds of this 
  438.           advance are attributed via calculations to gravitational 
  439.           perturbations from the other planets (Venus, Earth, Jupiter, 
  440.           etc.).  The remaining 43 seconds of arc are being used to 
  441.           help "prove" Einstein's "General Theory of Relativity". 
  442.     
  443.                But the late Physicist Dewey B. Larson achieved results 
  444.           CLOSER to the 43 seconds than "General Relativity" can, by 
  445.           INSTEAD using "SPECIAL Relativity".  In one or more of his 
  446.           books, he applied the LORENTZ TRANSFORMATION on the HIGH 
  447.           ORBITAL SPEED of Mercury. 
  448.     
  449.                Larson TOTALLY REJECTED "General Relativity" as another 
  450.           MATHEMATICAL FANTASY.  He also REJECTED most of "Special 
  451.           Relativity", including the parts about "mass increases" near 
  452.           the speed of light, and the use of the Lorentz Transform on 
  453.           doppler shifts, (Those quasars with red-shifts greater than 
  454.           1.000 REALLY ARE MOVING FASTER THAN THE SPEED OF LIGHT, 
  455.           although most of that motion is away from us IN TIME.). 
  456.      
  457.                In Larson's comprehensive GENERAL UNIFIED Theory of the 
  458.           physical universe, there are THREE dimensions of time instead 
  459.           of only one.  But two of those dimensions can NOT be measured 
  460.           from our material half of the physical universe.  The one 
  461.           dimension that we CAN measure is the CLOCK time.  At low 
  462.           relative speeds, the values of the other two dimensions are 
  463.           NEGLIGIBLE; but at high speeds, they become significant, and 
  464.           the Lorentz Transformation must be used as a FUDGE FACTOR. 
  465.           [Larson often used the term "COORDINATE TIME" when writing 
  466.           about this.] 
  467.     
  468.      
  469.                In regard to "mass increases", it has been PROVEN in 
  470.           atomic accelerators that acceleration drops toward zero near 
  471.           the speed of light.  But the formula for acceleration is 
  472.           ACCELERATION = FORCE / MASS, (a = F/m).  Orthodox physicists 
  473.           are IGNORING the THIRD FACTOR: FORCE.  In Larson's Theory, 
  474.           mass STAYS CONSTANT and FORCE drops toward zero.  FORCE is 
  475.           actually a MOTION, or COMBINATIONS of MOTIONS, or RELATIONS 
  476.           BETWEEN MOTIONS, including INward and OUTward SCALAR MOTIONS.  
  477.           The expansion of the universe, for example, is an OUTward 
  478.           SCALAR motion inherent in the universe and NOT a result of 
  479.           the so-called "Big Bang" (which is yet another MATHEMATICAL 
  480.           FANTASY). 
  481.     
  482.                The forces in nature include "centrifugal force", the 
  483.           "Coriolis force", and the force created in a linearly 
  484.           accelerating frame.  Orthodox physicists ARROGANTLY call 
  485.           these three forces "fictitious forces" or "pseudoforces", in 
  486.           spite of their IGNORANCE of what a force IS.  (They define it 
  487.           ONLY according to what it DOES: accelerate a mass.)  The 
  488.           "Principle of Equivalence" states that "a gravitational force 
  489.           and a suitable acceleration are indistinguishable within a 
  490.           sufficiently local environment.".  The three types of 
  491.           "pseudoforces" ALL result from some kind of MOTION 
  492.           (rotational motion, or acceleration).  Does it not seem 
  493.           logical to conclude from this that ALL FORCES, INCLUDING the 
  494.           force of GRAVITY, result from some form of MOTION?!

  501.           OF MOTION", by Dewey B. Larson, 1984, North Pacific 
  502.           Publishers, (P.O. Box 13255, Portland, Oregon  97213), 456 
  503.           pages, indexed, hardcover. 
  504.     
  505.                It contains the Astrophysical portions of a GENERAL 
  506.           UNIFIED Theory of the physical universe developed by that 
  507.           author, an UNrecognized GENIUS, more than thirty years ago. 
  508.     
  509.                It contains FINAL SOLUTIONS to most ALL Astrophysical 
  510.           mysteries, including the FORMATION of galaxies, binary and 
  511.           multiple star systems, and solar systems, the TRUE ORIGIN of 
  512.           the "3-degree" background radiation, cosmic rays, and gamma-
  513.           ray bursts, and the TRUE NATURE of quasars, pulsars, white 
  514.           dwarfs, exploding galaxies, etc.. 
  515.     
  516.                It contains what astronomers and astrophysicists are ALL 
  517.           looking for, if they are ready to seriously consider it with 
  518.           OPEN MINDS!

  520.                The following is an example of his Theory's success: 
  521.           In his first book in 1959, "THE STRUCTURE OF THE PHYSICAL 
  522.           UNIVERSE", Larson predicted the existence of EXPLODING 
  523.           GALAXIES, several years BEFORE astronomers started finding 
  524.           them.  They are a NECESSARY CONSEQUENCE of Larson's 
  525.           comprehensive Theory.  And when QUASARS were discovered, he 
  526.           had an immediate related explanation for them also.

  530.           GAMMA-RAY BURSTS

  532.                Astro-physicists and astronomers are still scratching 
  533.           their heads about the mysterious GAMMA-RAY BURSTS.  They were 
  534.           originally thought to originate from "neutron stars" in the 
  535.           disc of our galaxy.  But the new Gamma Ray Telescope now in 
  536.           Earth orbit has been detecting them in all directions 
  537.           uniformly, and their source locations in space do NOT 
  538.           correspond to any known objects, (except for a few cases of 
  539.           directional coincidence). 
  540.     
  541.                Gamma-ray bursts are a NECESSARY CONSEQUENCE of the 
  542.           GENERAL UNIFIED Theory of the physical universe developed by 
  543.           the late Physicist Dewey B. Larson.  According to page 386 of 
  544.           his book "THE UNIVERSE OF MOTION", published in 1984, the 
  545.           gamma-ray bursts are coming from SUPERNOVA EXPLOSIONS in the 
  546.           ANTI-MATTER HALF of the physical universe, which Larson calls 
  547.           the "Cosmic Sector".  Because of the relationship between the 
  548.           anti-matter and material halves of the physical universe, and 
  549.           the way they are connected together, the gamma-ray bursts can 
  550.           pop into our material half anywhere in space, seemingly at 
  551.           random.  (This is WHY the source locations of the bursts do 
  552.           not correspond with known objects, and come from all 
  553.           directions uniformly.) 
  554.     
  555.                I wonder how close to us in space a source location 
  556.           would have to be for a gamma-ray burst to kill all or most 
  557.           life on Earth!  There would be NO WAY to predict one, NOR to 
  558.           stop it! 
  559.     
  560.                Perhaps some of the MASS EXTINCTIONS of the past, which 
  561.           are now being blamed on impacts of comets and asteroids, were 
  562.           actually caused by nearby GAMMA-RAY BURSTS!

  566.           LARSONIAN Binary Star Formation
  567.           
  568.                About half of all the stars in the galaxy in the 
  569.           vicinity of the sun are binary or double.  But orthodox 
  570.           astronomers and astrophysicists still have no satisfactory 
  571.           theory about how they form or why there are so many of them. 
  572.     
  573.                But binary star systems are actually a LIKELY 
  574.           CONSEQUENCE of the comprehensive GENERAL UNIFIED Theory of 
  575.           the physical universe developed by the late Physicist Dewey 
  576.           B. Larson. 
  577.     
  578.                I will try to summarize Larsons explanation, which is 
  579.           detailed in Chapter 7 of his book "THE UNIVERSE OF MOTION" 
  580.           and in some of his other books. 
  581.     
  582.                First of all, according to Larson, stars do NOT generate 
  583.           energy by "fusion".  A small fraction comes from slow 
  584.           gravitational collapse.  The rest results from the COMPLETE 
  585.           ANNIHILATION of HEAVY elements (heavier than IRON).  Each 
  586.           element has a DESTRUCTIVE TEMPERATURE LIMIT.  The heavier the 
  587.           element is, the lower is this limit.  A star's internal 
  588.           temperature increases as it grows in mass via accretion and 
  589.           absorption of the decay products of cosmic rays, gradually 
  590.           reaching the destructive temperature limit of lighter and 
  591.           lighter elements. 
  592.     
  593.                When the internal temperature of the star reaches the 
  594.           destructive temperature limit of IRON, there is a Type I 
  595.           SUPERNOVA EXPLOSION!  This is because there is SO MUCH iron 
  596.           present; and that is related to the structure of iron atoms 
  597.           and the atom building process, which Larson explains in some 
  598.           of his books [better than I can]. 
  599.     
  600.                When the star explodes, the lighter material on the 
  601.           outer portion of the star is blown outward in space at less 
  602.           than the speed of light.  The heavier material in the center 
  603.           portion of the star was already bouncing around at close to 
  604.           the speed of light, because of the high temperature.  The 
  605.           explosion pushes that material OVER the speed of light, and 
  606.           it expands OUTWARD IN TIME, which is equivalent to INWARD IN 
  607.           SPACE, and it often actually DISAPPEARS for a while. 
  608.     
  609.                Over long periods of time, both masses start to fall 
  610.           back gravitationally.  The material that had been blown 
  611.           outward in space now starts to form a RED GIANT star.  The 
  612.           material that had been blown OUTWARD IN TIME starts to form a 
  613.           WHITE DWARF star.  BOTH stars then start moving back toward 
  614.           the "MAIN SEQUENCE" from opposite directions on the H-R 
  615.           Diagram. 
  616.     
  617.                The chances of the two masses falling back into the 
  618.           exact same location in space, making a single lone star 
  619.           again, are near zero.  They will instead form a BINARY 
  620.           system, orbiting each other. 
  621.      
  622.                According to Larson, a white dwarf star has an INVERSE 
  623.           DENSITY GRADIENT (is densest at its SURFACE), because the 
  624.           material at its center is most widely dispersed (blown 
  625.           outward) in time.   This ELIMINATES the need to resort to 
  626.           MATHEMATICAL FANTASIES about "degenerate matter", "neutron 
  627.           stars", "black holes", etc.. 
  628.

  631.           LARSONIAN Solar System Formation

  633.                If the mass of the heavy material at the center of the 
  634.           exploding star is relatively SMALL, then, instead of a single 
  635.           white dwarf star, there will be SEVERAL "mini" white dwarf 
  636.           stars (revolving around the red giant star, but probably 
  637.           still too far away in three-dimensional TIME to be affected 
  638.           by its heat, etc.).  These will become PLANETS! 
  639.       
  640.                In Chapter 7 of THE UNIVERSE OF MOTION, Larson used all 
  641.           this information, and other principles of his comprehensive 
  642.           GENERAL UNIFIED Theory of the physical universe, to derive 
  643.           his own version of Bode's Law.

  646.  
  647.           "Black Hole" FANTASY!
  648.  
  649.                I heard that physicist Stephen W. Hawking recently 
  650.           completed a theoretical mathematical analysis of TWO "black 
  651.           holes" merging together into a SINGLE "black hole", and 
  652.           concluded that the new "black hole" would have MORE MASS than 
  653.           the sum of the two original "black holes". 
  654.     
  655.                Such a result should be recognized by EVERYone as a RED 
  656.           FLAG, causing widespread DOUBT about the whole IDEA of "black 
  657.           holes", etc.! 
  658.     
  659.                After reading Physicist Dewey B. Larson's books about 
  660.           his comprehensive GENERAL UNIFIED Theory of the physical 
  661.           universe, especially his book "THE UNIVERSE OF MOTION", it is 
  662.           clear to me that "black holes" are NOTHING more than 
  663.           MATHEMATICAL FANTASIES!  The strange object at Cygnus X-1 is 
  664.           just an unusually massive WHITE DWARF STAR, NOT the "black 
  665.           hole" that orthodox astronomers and physicists so badly want 
  666.           to "prove" their theory.

  669.                By the way, I do NOT understand why so much publicity is 
  670.           being given to physicist Stephen Hawking.  The physicists and 
  671.           astronomers seem to be acting as if Hawking's severe physical 
  672.           problem somehow makes him "wiser".  It does NOT! 
  673.     
  674.                I wish the same attention had been given to Physicist 
  675.           Dewey B. Larson while he was still alive.  Widespread 
  676.           publicity and attention should NOW be given to Larson's 
  677.           Theory, books, and organization (The International Society of 
  678.           Unified Science).

  682.           ELECTRO-MAGNETIC PROPULSION
  683.  
  684.                I heard of that concept many years ago, in connection 
  685.           with UFO's and unorthodox inventors, but I never was able to 
  686.           find out how or why they work, or how they are constructed. 
  687.     
  688.                I found a possible clue about why they might work on 
  689.           pages 112-113 of the book "BASIC PROPERTIES OF MATTER", by 
  690.           the late Physicist Dewey B. Larson, which describes part of 
  691.           Larson's comprehensive GENERAL UNIFIED Theory of the physical 
  692.           universe.  I quote one paragraph: 
  693.     
  694.                "As indicated in the preceding chapter, the development 
  695.           of the theory of the universe of motion arrives at a totally 
  696.           different concept of the nature of electrical resistance.  
  697.           The electrons, we find, are derived from the environment.  It 
  698.           was brought out in Volume I [Larson's book "NOTHING BUT 
  699.           MOTION"] that there are physical processes in operation which 
  700.           produce electrons in substantial quantities, and that, 
  701.           although the motions that constitute these electrons are, in 
  702.           many cases, absorbed by atomic structures, the opportunities 
  703.           for utilizing this type of motion in such structures are 
  704.           limited.  It follows that there is always a large excess of 
  705.           free electrons in the material sector [material half] of the 
  706.           universe, most of which are uncharged.  In this uncharged 
  707.           state the electrons cannot move with respect to extension 
  708.           space, because they are inherently rotating units of space, 
  709.           and the relation of space to space is not motion.  In open 
  710.           space, therefore, each uncharged electron remains permanently 
  711.           in the same location with respect to the natural reference 
  712.           system, in the manner of a photon.  In the context of the 
  713.           stationary spatial reference system the uncharged electron, 
  714.           like the photon, is carried outward at the speed of light by 
  715.           the progression of the natural reference system.  All 
  716.           material aggregates are thus exposed to a flux of electrons 
  717.           similar to the continual bombardment by photons of radiation.  
  718.           Meanwhile there are other processes, to be discussed later, 
  719.           whereby electrons are returned to the environment.  The 
  720.           electron population of a material aggregate such as the earth 
  721.           therefore stabilizes at an equilibrium level." 
  722.           
  723.                Note that in Larson's Theory, UNcharged electrons are 
  724.           also massLESS, and are basically photons of light of a 
  725.           particular frequency (above the "unit" frequency) spinning 
  726.           around one axis at a particular rate (below the "unit" rate).  
  727.           ("Unit velocity" is the speed of light, and there are 
  728.           vibrational and rotational equivalents to the speed of light, 
  729.           according to Larson's Theory.)  [I might have the "above" and 
  730.           "below" labels mixed up.] 
  731.     
  732.                Larson is saying that outer space is filled with mass-
  733.           LESS UN-charged electrons flying around at the speed of 
  734.           light! 
  735.     
  736.                If this is true, then the ELECTRO-MAGNETIC PROPULSION 
  737.           fields of spacecraft might be able to interact with these 
  738.           electrons, or other particles in space, perhaps GIVING them a 
  739.           charge (and mass) and shooting them toward the rear to 
  740.           achieve propulsion. (In Larson's Theory, an electrical charge 
  741.           is a one-dimensional rotational vibration of a particular 
  742.           frequency (above the "unit" frequency) superimposed on the 
  743.           rotation of the particle.) 
  744.       
  745.                The paragraph quoted above might also give a clue to 
  746.           confused meteorologists about how and why lightning is 
  747.           generated in clouds.

  751.           SUPPRESSION of LARSONIAN Physics
  752.  
  753.                The comprehensive GENERAL UNIFIED Theory of the physical 
  754.           universe developed by the late Physicist Dewey B. Larson has 
  755.           been available for more than 30 YEARS, published in 1959 in 
  756.           his first book "THE STRUCTURE OF THE PHYSICAL UNIVERSE". 
  757.     
  758.                It is TOTALLY UN-SCIENTIFIC for Hawking, Wheeler, Sagan, 
  759.           and the other SACRED PRIESTS of the RELIGION they call 
  760.           "science" (or "physics", or "astronomy", etc.), as well as 
  761.           the "scientific" literature and the "education" systems, to 
  762.           TOTALLY IGNORE Larson's Theory has they have. 
  763.     
  764.                Larson's Theory has excellent explanations for many 
  765.           things now puzzling orthodox physicists and astronomers, such 
  766.           as gamma-ray bursts and the nature of quasars. 
  767.     
  768.                Larson's Theory deserves to be HONESTLY and OPENLY 
  769.           discussed in the physics, chemistry, and astronomy journals, 
  770.           in the U.S. and elsewhere.  And at least the basic principles 
  771.           of Larson's Theory should be included in all related courses 
  772.           at UW-EC, UW-Madison, Cambridge, Cornell University, and 
  773.           elsewhere, so that students are not kept in the dark about a 
  774.           worthy alternative to the DOGMA they are being fed.
